
Robert Ducker was educated at St.
Joseph Rabat and St. Aloysius College. In 1998 he obtained an Associateship
from The Chartered Institute of Bankers and a BSc Honours degree in Financial Services
from The University of Manchester, Institute of Sciences &Technology.
His career has been mainly within the
Financial Services industry. He worked at Bank of Valletta for 35 years and during
this period he was assigned various executive level duties within the Bank. He
worked as a Branch manager for three years and then moved on to Head Office
where he was tasked with heading a number of units such as: Savings &
Investments, Wealth Management, Procurement & Administration and
Bancassurance.
For the last four years he has served
as the Vice-chairman of the Housing Authority and as the Chairman of the
Revisory Committee. He is presently the Secretary to The Financial Services
Tribunal.
