PRESS RELEASE BY THE MINISTRY FOR SOCIAL AND AFFORDABLE ACCOMMODATION
Minister for Social and Affordable Accommodation Roderick Galdes visited the new social housing project in Mellieħa. This project will provide eight modern two-apartment residential units on each floor, specially designed to offer comfortable and accessible space.
The project is one of a series of investments that the Housing Authority is undertaking in collaboration with the Housing Projects Solutions Ltd (HPS). The total investment for this project amounts to around €850,000, reflecting a clear commitment to create modern and sustainable residences within the Mellieħa community.
Minister Roderick Galdes said that this is one of several projects being carried out across the country so that communities benefit from modern, accessible and affordable residences, while the Government continues to strengthen its work in favour of social inclusion and the wellbeing of the people.
“This project in Mellieħa clearly demonstrates our commitment to continue to offer safe and quality residences to Maltese and Gozitan families. We are committed to continue investing in housing that respects people’s dignity and provides stability to families,” said Minister Galdes.
