Housing Benefit Scheme

Housing Benefit Scheme supports tenants leasing from the private sector by providing monthly subsidies towards their rent payments to ensure affordable rents. Special assistance is also given to victims of domestic violence

The property must be used as the applicant’s primary residence, and the rental contract must be officially registered with the Housing Authority. 

The monthly subsidy granted is calculated by considering the applicants’ income and the amount spent on rent on a case-by-case basis.
