Regeneration in the field of social housing in Gudja.
Minister for Social and Affordable Accommodation Roderick Galdes announced that the regeneration project in the field of social housing in Gudja has been completed. Implemented across two blocks with separate entrances, the project is improving the residential environment for more families.
Details of the project were provided during a visit by Minister Galdes, who explained that the works were carried out with an investment of over €100,000. He noted that the Government continues to invest not only in housing but also in improving the quality of life of families and the communities in which they live.
“Such regeneration projects make a tangible difference to the daily lives of families living in these communities, in this case in the Gozitan community,” said Minister Galdes. He also recalled that the Gudja project is a part of a series of regeneration projects, either completed or ongoing, including in Mosta, Ta’ Ġiorni, Żejtun, Ħamrun, Santa Luċija, Paola and Tarxien. These projects are being carried out by the Housing Authority together with Housing Projects Solutions Ltd.
Minister Roderick Galdes concluded that these projects reflect the Government’s vision and commitment to raising social housing standards and further strengthening the well-being of families.
